A Bonding Moment
So, The wheel of time was a show I started watching with my uncle and sister after not having seen him for a long time. The first episode did something to my brain chemistry that made me love the show unconditionally.
Maybe it was the feminism from the female characters or that the world was so well done that it felt real. The casts acting couldn’t be better. An example of this is when we as the audience are introduced to child Valda and I went on google and realised that the cast didn’t just act but they transformed.
Rosamund Pike played Moiraine like a goddess and it even made me have a little girl crush on her. The crew made everything come to work with their relentless labour and you could tell that the entire cast was passionate about the show. It’s cancellation not only took away a bonding moment for my uncle and I but, it took a piece of my heart with it.
The diversity of the crew made me as a black girl who strives to be an actress gain confidence in playing my roles at school. So save The wheel of Time because I know the late Robert Jordan would be proud.
