I am a 52-year-old man who has been reading The Wheel of Time since my teenage years. Robert Jordan’s masterpiece was more than a series of books—it was a portal into a world that shaped my imagination, expanded my perspective, and remained a quiet companion through the stages of my life.

Over the decades, I’ve read the entire series multiple times. Like many longtime fans, I developed vivid mental images of the characters and the world they inhabited. So when Amazon Prime adapted this beloved story into a live-action series, I approached it with cautious optimism. And what I found was nothing short of phenomenal.

No adaptation can ever capture every nuance of a book, nor should it. Changes are necessary in the transition from page to screen, and I welcomed that. What mattered more was whether the spirit—the heart—of The Wheel of Time remained intact. And in this series, it absolutely did.

Seeing these characters come alive—these companions of my youth—was an experience I never thought I would witness in my lifetime. The actors, writers, directors, and crew brought to life the essence of Jordan’s creation with grace and strength. They transformed what once lived only in the private spaces of imagination into something tangible, powerful, and beautiful.

This show became more than entertainment. It was a bridge between who I was as a young reader and who I am today. And I know I’m not alone. While not every fan floods social media with reviews or reactions, there are thousands—perhaps millions—of us who quietly feel this same connection. We meet in bookstores. We share hushed conversations about our favorite moments. We pass the books on to the next generation.

That’s why it is deeply disheartening to hear of the series’ uncertain future. The Wheel of Time deserves the chance to be completed. Just like The Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, this is a story worth finishing—a legend worth telling to its final turning of the Wheel.

Please don’t let this story go unfinished. If Amazon Prime cannot carry it forward, then let someone else with the vision and respect for this world take it on. The story is too important. The fans are too many. The love is too deep.
