As an avid fantasy reader, I was surprised that I hadn’t discovered Robert Jordan and his books until the TV show was released. Knowing nothing about the story- I jumped in, just for the love of this genre, and in turn, received a show that surpassed my expectations a hundredfold.

The stunning visuals, the impactful acting, and the pace of storytelling- I loved them all. I could already feel the soundtrack for the Aeil give me goosebumps, and I was in love every time the characters Moiraine and Lanfear came on screen. I love to feel annoyed at Mat, love to hate Lanfear and Liandrin, love to scream at Nynaeve’s stubbornness and marvel at Perrin’s heart. I am in love with Elayne and Aveindha. Crushed at Siuan’s death, excited about Min’s fate, and heartbroken at Loial’s departure. I don’t have words to praise every actor who brilliantly brought their characters to life and engulfed me in this lovely world.

I’m from India- and I enjoyed the show so much, that I made my 60+ parents watch it too. My mother is now an avid fan too- finding that hardly any content lives up to what WOT created. I continue to be a proponent of the show and recommend it to all friends and family. If this show lives on, my joy will know no bounds. If it’s canceled- thank you for bringing us all on this journey that ended too soon.
