To whom it may concern,

This may not be the letter that will convince you that The Wheel of Time deserves to be saved, but I can promise you… one of these many letters WILL.

I know this, because I have firsthand knowledge of the love and passion of WoT fans, how infectious and inspiring they can be. The Wheel of Time is a story of hope for a better world, and that same hope can be found in each of us fans, a hope that binds us together and ensures that life is more than just the hardships.

The news of the show’s premature cancellation could not have come at a worse time for me, in my personal life. A loss of a pet that I’ve had for 1/3 of my life, followed by the loss of a loved grandparent, followed closely by the loss of the wheel of time, to just really round off one that 7 day period of grief inducing life events.

With the morbid rule of threes satisfied, my particular brand of realistic optimism was… nonexistent. Words of encouragement, a lighthearted meme, or a call to action, all things I would’ve been known for and at any other time I would’ve already been doing, and all things I couldn’t provide at this time.

And, blessedly, they didn’t NEED me! The relief and admiration I felt when I saw my own usual kind of optimism reflected back at me through the community, it helped restore some of my hope, and let me take the time I would need to grieve in peace. And this is how I know that ONE letter in here will convince you that this show should be saved.
You will feel their hope, it will reach out of the pixels of your screen, and you will physically feel it in your heart. You will feel the overwhelming love that exists for this show, a love that’s shared between the actors, writers, effects artists, designers, directors, and all of us fans.
And you will surrender to it.

I am Kevin, and I love The Wheel of Time.
My time of grief is coming to an end, and my time of action is at hand.
I will do everything, use every Trolloc in my photoshop arsenal, to keep my friends entertained and optimistic, as the sheer stubbornness of the two rivers itself keeps our hopes alive.

In conclusion, If this is the letter that convinced you… then please save The Wheel of Time.
