Words feel insufficient to express the profound admiration and gratitude I, like countless fans, hold for each of you and the monumental effort, passion, and sheer talent you poured into bringing Robert Jordan’s epic world to life on screen. For three seasons, you didn’t just play characters; you embodied them, breathing life into their struggles, their triumphs, their loves, and their destinies.

To Rosamund Pike, our steadfast Moiraine Damodred. You were the very essence of Aes Sedai wisdom, strength, and unwavering resolve. Your gravitas and nuanced portrayal anchored the series, guiding us through the complexities of the One Power and the ever-looming threat of the Dark One. Your every glance, every gesture, spoke volumes, and you carried the weight of the world on your shoulders with such captivating grace.

To Josha Stradowski, our Rand al’Thor. Watching your journey from a simple shepherd to the Dragon Reborn has been a rollercoaster of emotion. You’ve shown us his fear, his reluctance, his burgeoning power, and the immense burden of his prophecy with a compelling vulnerability and growing strength.

To Madeleine Madden, our fierce Egwene al’Vere. You portrayed Egwene’s incredible arc from a village girl to a powerful channeler and leader with such conviction. Her determination, her resilience in the face of unimaginable horrors, and her unwavering loyalty shone through in your performance.

To Zoë Robins, our indomitable Nynaeve al’Meara. You captured Nynaeve’s fiery spirit, her protective nature, and her often-against-her-will embrace of her own immense power perfectly. Your scenes were electrifying, and you brought both her stubbornness and her deep compassion to the forefront.

To Marcus Rutherford, our gentle Perrin Aybara. You conveyed Perrin’s inner turmoil, his strength, and his deep connection to the wolf affinity with such quiet intensity. Your portrayal of his struggle with violence and his protective instincts was deeply moving.

To Dónal Finn (and previously Barney Harris), our charming and complicated Mat Cauthon. You brought Mat’s roguish charm, his hidden depths of loyalty, and the shadow of his connection to the dagger to life with a spark that was undeniable.

To Daniel Henney, our stoic and noble Lan Mandragoran. Your portrayal of the Warder’s unwavering loyalty, his silent suffering, and his deadly skill was perfection. The unspoken bond between Lan and Moiraine was a cornerstone of the show, beautifully conveyed by you both.

And to Sophie Okonedo, our magnificent Siuan Sanche, the Amyrlin Seat, the Daughter of the River. Your portrayal was a masterclass in strength, authority, and hidden vulnerability. You embodied the power and political acumen of the leader of the White Tower with such commanding presence, yet allowed us glimpses of the fisher-girl from Tear, the fierce heart beneath the Amyrlin’s stole. Your scenes crackled with intensity, whether you were sparring with Moiraine, commanding the Hall, or facing down immense threats. You brought such depth and gravitas to a pivotal character, making Siuan both formidable and deeply human.

To Kate Fleetwood, our chillingly complex Liandrin Guirale. You delivered a masterful performance, making Liandrin a character we loved to hate, yet couldn’t look away from, hinting at the pain beneath the polished, formidable exterior.

And to Hammed Animashaun as Loial, Priyanka Bose as Alanna Mosvani, Kae Alexander as Min Farshaw, Ceara Coveney as Elayne Trakand, Natasha O’Keeffe as Lanfear, and every single actor who graced the screen, from the smallest supporting role to the most formidable Forsaken: you each contributed vital threads to this rich and vibrant tapestry. You built a world we believed in, a world we desperately wanted to see continue.

It is with a heavy heart that we, the fans, have learned of Amazon’s decision to not renew The Wheel of Time. It feels like a chapter has been closed too soon, a song silenced mid-verse. Please know that this decision by the network is no reflection on the incredible work you all produced. You took a beloved, sprawling epic and forged it into something visually stunning, emotionally resonant, and utterly captivating. You deserved more seasons to tell the full breadth of this incredible story.

My deepest apologies that this journey on this network has been cut short. The disappointment among the fans is palpable, a testament to how much we cherished what you were creating.

We hold onto a thread of hope that perhaps, in some other turning of the Wheel, this story and your magnificent portrayals might find a new home, a new avenue to continue. The talent assembled in this cast is truly extraordinary, and I have no doubt that we will see each of you shine brightly in many future projects.
