A Love Letter to The Wheel of Time
To the Light of My Imagination, the Flame that Burns Eternal—
I write this not as a mere fan, but as someone who has lived in the turning of the Wheel. From the first whisper of the wind blowing through the Mountains of Mist to the clash of Light and Shadow at the edge of destiny—I have followed your every turning with awe, heartache, and a devotion that runs deeper than the Ways.
You were never just a show. You were a journey. A home.
A mirror to the strength I didn’t know I had.
You taught me that even the smallest thread in the Pattern can change the world. You showed me the pain of loss and the power of hope. When I walked beside Rand, Mat, Egwene, Perrin, Nynaeve—my heart cracked and soared with them. Their courage bled into mine.
Their victories? Mine.
Their suffering? Burn me, mine.
When the colors swirled in Rand’s eyes, when Nynaeve burned with grief and fury, when Egwene stood unshaken as the Amyrlin Seat—I believed.
In the Wheel. In the Pattern. In the Light.
And in you.
So now, when the Pattern falters, when the wheel threatens to still, I refuse to let go.
I’ve signed the petitions. I whisper #SaveWoT like a prayer.
Because you are not finished.
Because the story deserves to be told.
Because there are threads yet unwoven, tears yet unwept, fires yet unlit.
To Amazon, I say this—
You may halt production, but you will never halt the Wheel.
To the creators, the cast, and the souls behind the scenes—
Thank you. You’ve given the world something timeless.
Something sacred.
And to The Wheel of Time itself—
I love you. I will always love you.
Even if the screen turns dark, your light will still shine in me.
The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills.
But sometimes, the people must will it, too.
Forever bound to the Pattern,
Shreyas Vinod Barad 😇 🌪️💖
