From Rosamund Pike’s Weep for Manetheren I knew we were in for something special.

The complete and dedication to the characters and the story was obvious. There are scenes every season that I will never forget.

I used to say that King Théoden’s speech before leading the Rohirrim into battle at Minas Tirith was my favorite scene in all of the fantasy movies and tv shows I have ever seen and nothing else was close.

But not anymore. There are many scenes in this series, that rival it and maybe even surpass it.

To the show runners and all the cast and crew. You made something truly great. That can never be taken away from you, no matter what the studio says.

But I want to assure you that the blood of Manetheren runs deep in the hills and valleys of your fan base, your “Mountain Home”. If you call on us, we will come. We will follow you to Tarmon Gai’don, and fight by your side.
