As an avid and voracious reader of sci-fi and fantasy since I was a child I have been so pleased to see some amazing adaptations of some of my favorite series of books finally getting their time in the spotlight. These adaptations bring some of these amazing stories to light for the sadly large percentage of people who never read a book after completing school and have almost never read for pleasure. The quality of production in most of these series is amazing and WoT is close to the top of that list. The sets, direction, and acting throughout the show’s three seasons has been amazing.

Sadly, as happens time and time again, these excellently produced shows get cancelled without very much thought or reason. I firmly believe that television executives should have ZERO authority over actual TV shows. They’ve shown us over and over how inept their decisions are. I could list so many shows that were prematurely ended without any valid reason that could have gone on for many seasons more.

It is my sincere hope that this campaign to save WoT has some success and we are given many more seasons to watch the story unfold.

And for those “die hard” fans of the books who have been giving negative reviews… what did you expect here? Did you think it would be possible to take a series of books that totals over 15000 pages and make a completely true to source adaptation? That would have taken far more than 15 seasons of 22 episodes to even try and that long of a run only happens to shows like Supernatural (not saying bad things, that was a fun show) that have a specific episodic formula. The adaptation so far has held as close to the story as possible and we dont know what would have been without the chance to see it.
