Dearest crew and cast that I hold truly dear in my heart,

I started with the Wheel of Time purely thanks to Rosamund (as a die-hard fan of anything this wonderful woman produces/ is in) and very quickly I was thrown into a world much more intricate than I had initially anticipated. Instantly this surpassed some of the other fantasy series out there at the moment and I found myself practically gobbling up every new episode!

The characters? Phenomenal. Costumes? Out of this world. Storytelling? Fantastic!!! Needless to say I was also pleasantly surprised that the locations were those of my home country Czechia (and therefore I can potentially go location-hunting in the future).

I came into the show as someone who wasn’t familiar with the books and therefore couldn’t dissect each episode with a thorough eye, however, did this kickstart my love for the world and desire to read these books? Absolutely! I couldn’t care less that some scenes were slightly changed for the production or that some characters were omitted, it is more than obvious that this show was crafted with so much love and dedication that transcends past viewer’s screen.

I have fallen in love with the characters and their stories, I felt like I watched them grow, go through heartaches and troubles to moments of triumph and for that I want to applaud the wonderful cast! I think you have managed to give more characters more depth and truly had been pulling at my heart-strings to say the least. Have I become a fan of Lanfear thanks to the show? Heck yeah! Do I absolutely LOVE the focus on the Warders and their bonds with the Aes Sedai? Give me more of that! (Funnily, a character that was never in the books Stepin was one of my favourites.)

So, to conclude, not only has this show strengthened my love for fantasy, given me two amazing friends to gush about the show with, made me commit to a 15-book project and search some of the cast members to watch more of their stuff – it has most importantly become a part of my life that I am ever so grateful for. I am ever so hopeful that another production picks this series up and all of these wonderful people can continue working their magic! I know the fans, me included, will fight for it with all our might.
