Growing up as a nerdy teen, the WoT book series was my go-to escape when life was difficult. I was a voracious reader, and went through the series as it was being written more than three times over to keep fresh for each new book’s release.

As a teen, I dreamed of the series one day being brought to life on screen, and have followed the development of the live action series closely since its announcement, while also roping my friends into trying it out (they all eventually got hooked, especially with Season 3).

While I wasn’t a fan of all of the changes from the source material right away, they grew on me. The series really came into its own with Season 3 and was finally hitting its stride when Amazon pulled the rug out from under us diehard fans. There isn’t another fantasy series that is as good as WoT to turn to now in its place, and I feel a WoT-sized void in my heart that I don’t know how to fill.

I want to see the remaining story arcs explored on screen, the cast that the series has put together is so talented and wonderful, I’m in awe of the portrayals of Egwene, Rand, Nynaeve, Lan, Moraine, Siuan, Elaida, Elayne, and more! There is so much potential that could and should be explored.
