I’ve been a fan of the books for decades. I’m on my 5th full read through, currently in book 9. I started read #5 after having watched season 2 because I could see all the plot and character foreshadowing that was being laid out and I wanted to brush up on how all these things resolve. I think it’s incredibly irresponsible of Amazon Prime to take on the epic that is WoT without the fortitude to see it through, especially when they have the money for a publicity stunt as costly as sending pop stars to space.

This show was fantastic. I absolutely loved the casting; I’d list my favorites, but it’d basically be everyone. Fares Fares gave me new insight into the heart of “evil”, Rosamund Pike gave me an appreciation for the efforts of the Aes Sedia I didn’t realize I was missing, in Daniel Henneys portrail I see the man I wish to be, in Kate Fleetwood I see the power of personal control and manipulation… the glimpses into the White Cloaks, the Warders, the Travelling People, and the Aiel show deep understanding of not just the lore built up around the world, but of the complex politics that the books strive to break down. The main characters were perfect displays of the characters, but the elevation of not so main characters really made this shine.

Your world building was absolutely amazing and your dedication to the message is clearly shown. As I have little faith in Amazon’s desire to make art, l know that I’ll be using your lens while I read through the rest of the series.

Even if we never get the resolution this show deserves, thank you for your efforts. It has been a delight to experience this story visually.
