Dear cast & crew of The Wheel of Time,

I am so sorry that your production has been cancelled, and I sincerely hope that this decision is reversed.

If not, thank you for 5 years of wonderful television. I started watching Season 1 of WoT soon after leaving an abusive relationship in which all of my passion for art had been dormant. There was nothing in that period that brought me joy, and nothing I cared strongly about.

I still remember watching the first episode of the show in my college apartment, and feeling excitement for the first time in years. The final voiceover of the episode still makes me tear up, because when I first watched it, the beginning in the mountains of mist felt like the beginning of something new for my life as well.

Not getting to see the end of this story makes me profoundly sad, and without the show this is likely the end of me watching television as it airs. The productions just can’t be trusted anymore.

You all took a deeply flawed book series and turned it into the most interesting and representative fantasy series I’ve ever seen. Thank you for your efforts. I hope they can continue.
