When the series started, I watched the first season because the promotion said it was similar to GOT. But I discovered a bigger, more beautiful universe than GOT.
From season 2 onwards, I was hooked on the show. You should know that I am a big fan of Japanese Shonen and the journey of Shonen heroes who start from nothing to become the great hero that the world will need because the hero inherited a task that was supposed to be accomplished in the past but for one reason or another this does not happen and will happen through the current hero.
and there I hear the Dragon Reborn… At the end of season 2, I was addicted to Robert Jordan’s universe.
So with all this when I saw the trailer for season 3, I was over the moon. I kept talking about the show to my friends, family, WhatsApp group to the point where they told me I had become unbearable.
When season 3 started, I savored every episode like a kid in a toy store. Every week I took the time to watch each episode at least 3 times before the next week’s airing. And no episode was a disappointment. A lot of people thought I was lying when I said I enjoyed The Wheel of Time more than I enjoyed GOT. But that’s the absolute truth.
I could spend hours telling you about people like Rand or Moraine, but that’s not what we’re here for.
But I was surprised by the message on X to announce the cancellation, even though the series is critically acclaimed and also better than other fantasy series. My last message is simply, we must not cancel the wheel of time, we promise the future broadcaster that fans will take the time to participate in each campaign to promote the series. Thank you.
