I want to say thank you to the creators, the team and the actors that brought the Wheel of Time show to us in this magnificent and magical way.

It’s hard to even say where to start, because there are truly many things I deeply love and care about in the show. A show that has never been without flaws. Some of which were fair criticism and were met by the show with open arms, giving us a better end product with each season coming. Some of which were narrow minded, woke fear and simply the fact that the book loving watchers sometimes in their great capacity of love for the world were to passionate and missing to give the show the right to be it’s own wheel of time.

But overall the community came together in seeing the improvements, the love and care that was given by the showrunners, the team and the actors, making us believe in their vision. I always had the feeling, they have a greater plan, they know what they doing and I’m willing to go on this adventure and see where it takes me.

Yeah … and now Amazon has taken that from them, but also from me. Not being able to finish the adventure hurts. Imagine how Frodo and Sam must have felt, arriving near Mount Doom after all the peril and hardship to find themselves being told: sorry guys. You can’t finish all the way. It’s to … how to say … expensive to pay you for your great work, we don’t care about what it means to you or the audience following you on your way …

It hurts. It hurts deeply and it is so unfair. I truly hope Wheel of time, everyone involved get’s a second chance with another streaming service that shares the vision and believes as much in this world and adventure, than the show made me believe in.

For everyone involved, from the people that wrote the show, that did the camera, the music, the sound effects; that created these magnificent sets, the gorgeous and stunning costumes and make-up to the actors: I loved every second of your work. I feel deeply humbled to have been able to see this world come alive through your work. I thank you for it from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for Mat, my beloved hero I wished I could have seen you realizing your own self-worth at the end, to Perrin my humble soul that put others first, I wished I could have seen you happy in the simple life you cherish, thank you to my brave girls Elayne and Egwene, the showcasing of woman’s power where it felt earned and heartfelt through your performances was wonderful.

Thank you Nynaeve for portraying a woman so strong and powerful but yet so vulnerable and scared of herself. A woman that would tear the world apart for the people she loves. Thank you to Lan for being the rock, the fire, the water and the wind, when ever he needed to be and knowing exactly when to be it.

Thank you Rand for showing that it’s about more than being a hero, the most powerful being in the world. Showing how lonely, how scary it is and what true sacrifices can me. Showing that being not perfect is so much more relatable and brave than being always in the right and without flaws and without making mistakes.

Thank you to Alanna and Maxim for showing how to deal with loss, with grief in a relationship, how to grow with each other in such an honest, true and wonderful way. I loved you both from the bottom of my heart and wished I could have continued the journey to see, what the future holds for you.

And last but never least to my favorite couple of all time: Moiraine and Siuan. ♥ What can I say? As a woman who is in a relationship with a woman for 21 years and married to her for 15 now … you gave us something on screen that was compelling, that was deep, that was light and hard at the same time, it was sweet and bittersweet, it was despite the ending, the essence of true love, waiting for one another again and again and again. You made this love believable and what that felt like and meant for us to see on screen, that can never be taken away from us. Thank you two amazing actresses for bringing this badass woman with all their flaws and strengths to life the way you did. You deserve all the love for this and I thank you with my heart and soul.

May the light shine upon you all and hopefully you get to turn another wheel, continuing the adventure after all. If people decide with their heart and soul as well and not just with shortsighted money cashflow or investing … in the wrong shows instead …
