I first came across The Wheel of Time around 1999, when I randomly picked a book off the “just returned” shelf at my local library—and I instantly fell in love with it. I started reading it in my native language, but later I found the first three books in a thrift store for an unbelievably low price, so I gave the English version a try.

It was really tough at first—it took me months to get through just one book. But little by little, I kept going, and now I read almost all my fiction in English. Honestly, it wasn’t school that taught me English—it was The Wheel of Time.

And thanks to the WOT TV show, I’ve met some amazing people after going to a WOT-themed convention. They’ve become part of my chosen family.

Please bring the show back, it’s terribly missed.
