I always found the Wheel of Time books addictive – in the sense that once I started I found them difficult to put down and everything else comes second including husband and work. I don’t read them regularly because of this.

But I love the story so much and so I was very excited when I found out there was going to be a Wheel of Time show made. And then the first season came out and I was blown away by the thoughtful portrayal of the world of the Wheel of Time and the characters.

Here was my Egwene (my overachieving favourite), my Nyneave, my Moiraine and on and on in the flesh. Season 2 continued to delight – Aviendha’s giggle and then ‘do you like to dance Perrin Aybara’ is a favourite moment. I’m just in awe with what’s achieved in season 3. Probably not a common view but episode 5 is my favourite – I just love that dream sequence at the end.

It takes the whole team working in unison to create a masterpiece of theatre like Wheel of Time. So I thank both cast and crew for the heart and soul they’ve given to the Wheel of Time. And I very much hope we can get them all to come back with another production company.
