SaveWOT took to the skies yesterday (17th June) as the group hired a plane to fly over Sony Pictures in Culver City for a couple of hours right around lunchtime. This visible statement of intent was seen by passers-by, campaign members who came to the area to capture footage and was confirmed to have been seen by studio staff at Amazon.

Wheel of Time showrunner, Rafe Judkins shared footage on his Instagram account as did other cast and crew.

Sarah Nakamura, the show’s official “book nerd” confirmed on twitter (now X) that she had been contacted by an Amazon Studios staffer with a picture of the banner taken from inside their building.

This flyover was a significant milestone in our campaign as we aim to show Sony that the show deserves a new home.
