When I first heard that we were getting a live-action Wheel of Time, I was leery. I’ve grown up with the book series and have been reading them for 30 years or so. I could not imagine that a live-action series would be enjoyable.

I have never been so glad to have been so wrong. It has been clear from the jump that this is a production made by people who love the characters in this series.

Nynaeve, Egwene, Matt, Perrin, Rand – all treated with dignity, sensitivity, and love. It’s been an honor to see them brought to life by these talented actors and scriptwriters.

I can’t believe the show made me interested in Liandrin. LIANDRIN. How dare you. I’ve loved seeing Kate Fleetwood give that character a depth and nuance that I never imagined she could have. Kudos to everyone involved!

I cannot possibly say enough good things about the set design, the costumes, and the overall aesthetic of this show. Thank you for your talent. Thank you for embracing the idea that this is not a generic medieval fantasy, but a post-apocalyptic one. Thank you again and again for all the work. All the effort. All the blood, sweat, and tears. The craftsmanship! Light.
