When the Wheel of Time first came out I had no idea what it was but in one of the trailers I saw Rosamund Pike kicking a**.

I later found out the Episode was Leavetaking. It wasn’t until Episode six that I was well and truly in love (with the show) and went to my local library. Rosamund Pike, Sophie Okendo, and Priyanka Bose all gave wonderful interpretations of their characters and I finished 1-3 books before season’s end. I devoured the content like I was in a desert starved of water.

I was also newly discovering my own sexuality and feelings, so seeing two women openly have feelings for, and act on them with each other was… I dunno it changed the way I looked at my own feelings and looked at myself. Even if it is not a real couple in ‘real life’.

And Priyanka Bose is just amazing as Alanna hands down. I always look forward to her on screen, and she… If I could gain her confidence, I’d be a happy person.
