I have been a WOT huge fan since the release of its first novel in 1990. I was immediately captivated and relieved when Brandon Sanderson didn’t miss a beat when he picked the torch up to finish Jordan’s work.

It honestly took me watching season 1 a couple of times to get into it. The deviations from the source material rubbed me the wrong way, despite realizing the show writers had to cut it down substantially because of its sheer size and depth. And, sure, make it more appealing to the modern social culture.

But I got over it. I got to fall in love with this world and its characters all over again. The show is amazing visually, and the writing (although changed) and acting are incredible. I NEED to see this story through to Tarmon Gai’don.
