Rafe, thanks for expanding on a dynamic that RJ/Brandon Sanderson only started to explore toward the end of the last book. You have epitomized what unconditional friendship and loyalty look like under the most adverse circumstances.

To Kae and Donal, thank you for your portrayal, for what at first glance seemed like the most unlikely friendship of the series. Your nuanced development of the character’s up/downs, give & take, the unspoken bond, the willingness to forgive and grow, and most of all the unexpected levity of pairing two characters with unique gifts.

In Seasons 2 & 3 whenever the story transitioned to a Min and Mat scene, I found myself smiling and anticipating the possible shenanigans that the pair always seemed to find. Not that they didn’t move the plot forward, they did, but always found a way to be entertaining. I think that’s the ultimate tribute to their professionalism and thespian skills.
