Cast and crew of the Wheel of Time,

The book series is very deeply meaningful to me; it’s up there with Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Lord of the Rings in importance to me.

And consistently, you have nailed the heart of the world and characters, top to bottom.

You understand how Nynaeve’s natural, radical empathy shapes every interaction she has while also recognizing that she goes big mama bear for those she cares about. Zoe consistently nailed my favorite character in the series, and one of my favorite characters in all fantasy.

The episodes focusing on Rand, Perrin, and Egwene are all stellar in their own right. Josha, Marcus, and Madeleine proved in their respective episodes they understand and love these characters and can carry a show.

Daniel Henney has embodied Lan so well. The softness with those he cares about, but the unreadable exterior when he needs it.

The first scene with Caera I KNEW she was Elayne. She captured the wide-eyed sheltered kid who wanted real, lasting friends, who is also intelligent and more capable than she lets on.

I love Donal as Mat. He really grasps the post-dagger Mat lighthearted overtones that are covering up a lot of things Mat doesn’t want others to know. When he shouted “Dovie andi se’tovya sagain,” I scared my dog from pure hype.

Rosamund Pike’s casting as Moiraine is as inspired and iconic as Ian McKellen’s as Gandalf. I don’t say that to be hyperbolic. Rosamund understands Moiraine and embodies the character in a way that is only comparable to Ian McKellen as Gandalf. The resignation of duty over her own wants, the willingness to put aside her own wants and desires to guide someone for the sake of the world. Rosamund captured it all.

The writing and direction has been top notch as well. The Rhuidean episode is a clear highlight of the show so far. I believe it is the best episode of Fantasy Television since “The Monster You Created” from Arcane, if not “Sozin’s Comet” from Avatar: The Last Airbender. You stand among greats.

The costuming always nailed the look of a culture and brought to life everything Robert Jordan described and loved.

The score by Lorne Balfe and his team is also incredible. There is so much there, and “Mashiara” is my absolute favorite cue in a television score since “The Avatar’s Love”.

There are too many more people to praise. Priyanka, Taylor, Alexander, Sophie, Hammed…It’s all been wonderful, and truly understanding the characters and this world.

I want you to know that your work will not go unnoticed, has not. And your love for the series and these characters bleeds through in every second of screen time. You have brought to screen a series that means so much to me.
