Like many other fantasy stories, this appears to be a tale of good fighting against evil. It is much more than that, though, exploring the struggles we fight with ourselves to be good people and to do what is right and just. It is a story of trauma, empowerment, and redemption. It is a story of ordinary people fighting against all odds to become extraordinary, because that is the only way to make their world a better place. It is a story we need now more than ever in 2025.

To Rafe Judkins and the writers: thank you for lovingly and thoughtfully adapting this story to the screen. Though there have been some loud, dissenting voices, please know that there are so many more of us who love these books and also love what you have done to translate them to a new medium and a new century. You have continued the work that Robert Jordan began to envision a world where women’s great power is foundational. You have updated that vision for a new generation and a new understanding of gender. We see you and appreciate what you have done.

To the directors, the crew, and the cast: though this work begins on the writers’ page, you are the ones who have brought it to life. Thank you for realizing every aspect of this vision so beautifully. Through countless challenges of the pandemic, strikes, and the other ordinary challenges of making any television show, you have managed to tell this story with such emotion and attention to detail. We, the fans, are so grateful for you.

As time passes, we understand you will need to move on and look for other work. But please, keep THE WHEEL OF TIME in your hearts. We, the fans, are fighting for this story to continue, and we would love nothing more than for you all to come back to continue the telling of it.
